Time to get the popcorn out, its movie night! This is a great project to do for fun and can make movie night or a kids birthday party that much more enjoyable. So pop a bag of microwave popcorn, invite your friends over, its popcorn popping time!
-X-acto Knife or Scissors
Lets Get Started:
Print out the Download template found at the top of the page. Use An X-acto knife or scissors to cut out the solid lines of the popcorn box
Take a bone folder and ruler to score out all of the dotted lines of the cupcake box. Use the ruler to keep the score lines straight. Bend all of the lines that are dotted inside of themselves so they do not show once the box is assembled.
The bottom of the box has three tabs, a long flap with a tab and two short tabs on either side of the large one, fold the three parts 90 degrees. Fold those three tabs 90 degrees, then fold the three walls of the box at 90 degrees above the three tabs, so that the two small tabs are facing each other. Glue the two small tabs in this position.
Now its time to close the 4 walls. At the base of the box there is a remaining tab. Glue the outside of the tab and glue the inner side of the 4th wall to it. Now there is one remaining side of the wall with a loose tab. Take this tab and glue it as shown in the picture.
And with that last step, you are done! Fill these cute pop-corn boxes with popped kernels and watch the excitement play on the face of youngsters and adults alike!
